Since I’m sure there are people reading this I haven’t yet spoken to directly, let me give you a fair warning: having Yuan as a comfort character means you have to get well acquainted with “scrunchy face.” Scrunchy face is Yuan’s default state of being and he has maybe 800 different ones.
For months, my notes for this scene read “he goes there to get away from the phone.” Something we all feel deep down.
